The good news is that in the next two weeks, we should have:
the washer and dryer hooked back up (until the tile floor is laid)
air conditioning in the new laundry
new doors in the new room
a new pocket door
the ceiling tiles put up
the tile floor put down
the upper cabinets and the old laundry wall and soffits all removed
the new appliances all delivered
The bad news is that the new cabinets are not going to be ready for three weeks, which puts their installation (and therefore the new appliances installation) right into when I have to go back to work. Joe will probably have to take a few vacation days to be here while installation goes on, just so that someone is on site who knows what is supposed to go where. Sigh.
